ABOUT USJim Tiller is from the rural Appalachian Mountains of Southern West Virginia. He attended Alice Lloyd Junior College in Kentucky, majoring in political science and pre-law. Jim then enrolled in West Virginia State University, where he pursued a minor in music as well as his pre-law studies. In 1990, Jim was signed to a management recording contract as a country music artist and moved to Nashville. As he pursued his musical career, he dedicated himself to full-time work as a counselor and advocate for disadvantaged and "at risk" youth in the area. During this time, Jim also earned a BA from Trevecca University in Management and Human Relations. After working with local youth, Jim decided to return to his dream of practicing law. He landed a full time job as a law clerk with a Nashville firm and gained admission to the Nashville School of Law, where he earned a four-year Jurist Doctor degree. Jim passed the Tennessee Bar immediately upon graduation from law school, and later co-founded Tiller-Allison, PLLP. He is a member of The Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. Jim is married to Melissa, and they have two young sons. Cody Allison is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee and is a graduate of The University of Tennessee and American Bar Association accredited Mississippi College School of Law. He is admitted to every State and Federal Court in Tennessee and to the US Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. He is married, has one daughter, and - in his spare time - has been a radio announcer for The Tennessee Titans for the past ten years.
